Briley Lamon is a beautiful 7 year-old who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia yesterday.
She has been pale and feeling weak for several months, but the family attributed that to her heart condition, Tetralogy of Fallot, which she had surgery for at 4 months and will again in the next 4 years due to her heart still being enlarged. She had an appointment with her cardiologist this week, which is when they found out about the Leukemia through blood work.
Sheis currently in Atlanta, and as of right now the plan is for her mom Brigitte to stay with her the entire time she is there (the projected time period right now is 4 weeks). Her dad Brian and brother Cooper will be staying in Thomasville during the week for work and school and traveling to Atlanta on the weekends to be with Brigitte and Briley. As you can imagine these travel costs, along with the temporary loss of Brigette's salary, will be a financial burden for the family. And that is not to mention what their medical co-pays might be later on. Please consider giving what you can to help them financially during this terribly hard experience.
