Briiker Jesse Furio Rhodes born to Alexsis Gramigna and Brycen Rhodes on December 24, 2024 weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces at birth. He was able to come home from the hospital healthy and with great promise.

He soon started projectile vomiting after every feed and having lots of diaper changes with weight loss at appointments. He was admitted to DMH with failure to thrive and without improvement was transferred to OSF in Peoria, IL. He was found to have a hernia and continuous weight loss (5 pounds 15 ounces) requiring a gastrointestinal (tube to stomach) tube for feedings. Once Briiker improves, he will be able to receive hernia repair surgery. An undetermined amount of hospital time and care will be required.
