Support Brihanna's Bone Marrow Transplant Journey

My name is Brihanna and I'm 19 years old. In March of 2023 I was diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After 3 months of harsh chemo I reached remission. I continued on with treatment and was cancer free for over a year. My end date of treatment was supposed to be June 29 2025. We thought this journey was almost over but after months of having problems with my platelets my oncologist decided it be best to do a bone marrow biopsy. Results came back still cancer free but with signs of MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome) also known as pre leukemia cells. Because of this new diagnosis I will have to undergo a bone marrow transplant. This will involve harsh chemo to wipe out my immune system and possibly radiation. I will be in the hospital anywhere from 6-8 weeks, the doctor also recommends I stay at the Ronald McDonald house for 100 days following the transplant. This will be a lot of commuting back and forth to Orlando and expenses for food and other necessities. My parents will be missing a lot of work to stay and take care of me, anything helps.
