Help Support Sweet Briggs & His Family

One of the most amazing little boys we know, Briggs, needs our love and support. Briggs is full of joy — he loves dinosaurs, playing outside, and spending time with his brother and sister.

Just 8 days ago, what started as what we thought was a simple case of hand, foot, and mouth quickly turned into something much more serious. On Saturday, 9/20, Briggs fell ill. By Monday, 9/22, his oxygen levels dropped, and he was rushed to Children’s Hospital. After countless tests, things took a frightening turn. On 9/24, Briggs was taken into surgery to have a chest tube, a feeding tube, and placed on a ventilator to help him breathe.

Today marks day 6 on the ventilator, and while the doctors are working tirelessly, Briggs still has a long road ahead. They anticipate at least two more weeks in the hospital, and even after he comes home, there will be therapy sessions, medical appointments, and many adjustments to daily life.

Through all of this, Briggs’ parents, Alisa and Gabe, have been at the hospital around the clock by his side. Skyler (Alisa’s boyfriend) and Kaylee (Gabe’s girlfriend) have been working hard to keep everything going on the outside. This beautiful blended family of four parents is doing everything they can, but the truth is — the world we live in requires two incomes, and right now, bills are piling up.

We are reaching out to ask for your help. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward keeping this family on their feet while they care for Briggs — covering bills, childcare for the other kids, and everyday expenses so they can focus on what matters most: getting Briggs healthy and home.
