Our friend and colleague Brielle had a work accident Tuesday 2/10/2026, unloading a truck at the shop. A heavy cart tipped and fell on her, breaking her pelvis in two places. “I got squished” was her direct explanation (morale is pretty good, considering!) and while we don’t yet know exactly what her road to recovery looks like, we know she’s having surgery on Thursday, will have a lot of rehab ahead of her, and will likely not be able to do the work she loves as a stagehand for a while.

She’s incredibly proud, but gave me her blessing to set this up, but as anyone who know Brielle can tell you— she’s loyal, hard-working, funny as heck— and needs the support of her community right now.

Anything you can contribute to help her while she heals will be incredibly appreciated, and I’ll update this as we know more about her needs and timeline.
