If you are in the racing community, then no introduction is needed for Miss Briella Ann Marie Evans. Brie is the mascot and MVP of the number 14 Sean Rayhall Motorsports Sprint Car team out of Fremont Ohio, and the daughter of our Crew Chief, Glynn (Prince) Evans. Brie is a pre school student at Vanguard, and just celebrated her 5th birthday on December 12th. It was this very day, that Briella's life would change forever. A much anticipated birthday celebration at Great wolf lodge, that she had been looking forward to for weeks - quickly turned into a trip to the Tiffin Mercy Hospital emergency room , and being Life Flighted to Nationwide Children's hospital in Toledo with a blood sugar level of 680 where Briella would stay for three nights and be diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. Now safe, and back home with her 7 month old baby brother and best friend, Colston, Miss Brie still has a long and never ending journey ahead of her. She will need insulin for the rest of her life. Along with Drs visits, pump pods, Dexom sensors and other supplies costing her family between $1,200 - $1,500 each month. On top of the initial emergency room visit, medflight, and hospital stay bills. Her family is working hard on finding a way to combat these new monthly expenses, but racing family - let's help them get on their feet!
