Since the beginning of this year, Bridgette’s life has been turned upside down by a series of health challenges that no one could have seen coming. What started as what she thought was just the flu and a much needed double knee replacement, quickly spiraled into something much more serious. After countless doctor visits, referrals, and endless phone calls, Bridgette learned she has two masses in her head—one behind her sinuses and another at the base of her head. For years, she thought she was just dealing with sinus infections, but the reality was far more daunting. On top of this, she is facing a likely diagnosis of degenerative disc disease and scoliosis, doctors have found a severe infection in her jaw, and she is still fighting to get a hysterectomy to help manage her health.
The whirlwind hasn’t stopped. Through all of this, Bridgette has lost her ability to work. Being self-employed, her insurance premiums are already sky-high, and she’s faced overwhelming out-of-pocket costs this year alone. This has affected not only her own livelihood but also her parents, who both work for her at her business. Despite everything, Bridgette remains the first to jump in and help others—she’s loving, kind, smart, hilarious, and well-known across the country. But like so many of us, she hasn’t always prioritized her own health, and now she’s facing challenges that are simply too big to handle alone.
Funds raised will go directly to Bridgette to help cover her mounting medical costs, insurance premiums, transportation to and from appointments, housing, food, and other essentials while she is unable to work. If you aren’t sure if you’ve met Bridgette, you probably have—she’s been everywhere, from coast to coast at motorcycle rallies and music events, running estate/garage sales, or just having drinks somewhere warm. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know, and she really needs our help. She still wants to do it on her own, but this is so much bigger than her. Please help me show her how loved she is, and how far that love reaches!
