Hello, we are the children of Bridgette Lugo. Our mother has struggled her whole life with a muscle disease that has not made it easy to do normal tasks. She was told she would never have kids, get to have a career, or be able to do normal things that we do in our everyday lives. For years, our mother proved these doctors wrong. She has lived her life and fought strong for her four children and eight grandchildren. She has not lived an easy life but has lived a life fulfilled by her family and trusting in God's plan.

As a family, we have all been grieving the passing of our father and her husband, who left this earth less than six months ago. Unfortunately, our mother unexpectedly has been hospitalized with a serious illness and she fought until she couldn’t fight anymore. She passed away amongst her children and family.Our mother was brave and persevered through so many hardships. She finally can live a life pain free in heaven right next to our father.
