Bridget Anson, my sister, has always been a dedicated and hardworking person. After spending 40 years working at Clark Memorial Hospital, she lost her job in June 2025. Since then, Bridget has faced an incredibly tough journey. Despite her experience and qualifications, she has not been able to find a new job in her field. To make matters even more difficult, Bridget suffered two strokes in July 2025 and has continued to struggle with other health issues. Just when we hoped things might improve, she had another stroke in March 2026.
For the past nine months, Bridget has managed to pay her bills and keep going without a job, but now her savings have run out. She is facing mounting monthly expenses and the costs of rehabilitation as she works to recover from her most recent stroke. Bridget is determined to regain her strength and independence, but she needs some help from friends, family, and the community to get through these next few months and start her job search again.
Thank you all very much for taking the time to read my sister’s story and for helping in any way that you can. Your support means the world to us. Please remember to tell the people you love that you love them, because tomorrow is never promised.
