Hi, my name is Bridget - a 26 year old - and I’m reaching out to the community for support on my last fight against metastatic cancer. With such a short time left, I’m asking for any help that can be offered.

A new 5cm x 7cm malignant mass was found in the lower left quadrant of my abdomen. Its position, far from the original tumor, means that I’m at an end stage of cancer. The only treatment for a mass of this size is emergency surgery and aggressive chemotherapy and radiation therapy afterwards with the hopes of preventing reoccurrence.

I’ll need extensive home support after the major surgery that will inevitably be far more expensive than what insurance covers. I also need support to be able to keep my home which I’m at risk of losing as it’s the only place I can recover from outside of a hospital.

Despite the debilitating nature of this disease, I do not wish to go gently into the light. I will fight as I have fought over the years until my very last moment. Absolutely everything helps, nothing is too small. Thank you all in advance!
