Support Brick Hester’s Long Road to Recovery

Our dear friend and brother, Brick Hester, was recently in a serious motorcycle accident that has left him facing a long and difficult road to recovery. Anyone who knows Brick knows he’s the first to lend a hand, lift your spirits, and show up when it matters most — now it’s our turn to do the same for him.

On Saturday, October 4th, Brick was doing one of his favorite things — riding his motorcycle — something he loves almost as much as spending time with his family. While traveling on I-85 in stop-and-go traffic, a car hit its brakes suddenly, causing Brick to go down on his bike while trying to stop.

Although we’re incredibly grateful his injuries aren’t life-threatening, Brick was severely hurt and faces a long road to recovery. He’s already undergone one major surgery and will need additional procedures, followed by an extended hospital stay, therapy, and rehabilitation before he can regain his strength and return home.

Anyone who knows Brick knows his bigger-than-life personality, kind heart, work ethic, and deep love for his family and friends. He’s the guy who shows up — the one who’d drop everything to help someone else, give you the shirt off his back, and make sure everyone around him is taken care of. Asking for help isn’t in his nature, but right now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

The costs of his ongoing care, time away from work, and recovery are significant. Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Hospital and surgical expenses

• Rehabilitation and therapy

• Living expenses during his recovery

• Support for his family while he heals
