Our family is facing one of the most difficult challenges we’ve ever known. Our beloved nephew, Bricen Hillanbrand, an 12-year-old with a bright spirit and incredible strength, has been diagnosed with leukemia. His life—and the lives of those who love him—has been forever changed by hospital stays, treatments, and constant medical appointments.

Bricen receives his care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where he is surrounded by an amazing medical team. As he prepares to begin the second stage of his treatments, the demands of frequent travel and extended hospital visits are increasing. Bricen’s father, Michael Coddington, has had to miss a significant amount of work in order to drive his son to CHOP and remain by his side during treatments. While caring for Bricen is his top priority, the loss of income—combined with travel costs, gas, meals, and everyday living expenses—has created a serious financial strain on their family.

This fundraiser is meant to help ease that burden so Michael can focus on what matters most: supporting Bricen as he bravely continues this fight. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward covering lost wages, transportation expenses, and basic necessities during this challenging time.
