Brian began his fire service career at just 16 years old as a cadet with the Phoenix Fire Department, quickly discovering his passion for serving others. Over the past 42 years, he has dedicated his life to helping his community as a firefighter, EMT, paramedic, and flight paramedic. His commitment to the Greer and Eagar communities has touched countless lives, and he has always been there for those in need.
Recently, Brian has faced a series of serious health challenges. He was first hospitalized with rare blood disorders (TTP and HUS), anemia, and a TIA, requiring emergency transport and intensive care. After a brief return home, he was hospitalized again with respiratory failure, double pneumonia, and fluid overload. Despite his determination to recover, Brian faced yet another setback with a collapsed lung and pneumonia, leading to a third hospitalization. These medical emergencies have left him unable to work since early October, and the expenses have quickly become overwhelming.
Brian is working hard to recover and hopes to return to serving his community soon. In the meantime, the financial strain from his hospital stays and loss of income has been immense. Please join us in supporting Brian on his road to recovery. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Brian and his family. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated.
