On May 6th, my son Brian was involved in a serious skateboarding accident that changed our lives in an instant. He suffered several skull fractures and severe lung issues, and has been in a medically induced coma since the accident. The days since have been filled with uncertainty, worry, and hope as we wait for signs of progress and healing. Brian is currently being treated at UC Davis in Sacramento, which is far from our home, making this journey even more challenging for our family.
The costs of travel, lodging, food, and mounting medical bills are overwhelming. His dad and I are doing everything we can to stay close to Brian during his recovery, but being away from home adds a significant financial burden. We want to be by his side every step of the way, supporting him as he fights to heal and regain his strength.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of thoughts, prayers, and positive energy from friends, family, and the community. If you are able to donate, your support will help us remain near Brian and cover the many expenses that come with this difficult time. Any help, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story, means the world to us. Thank you for standing with us and helping Brian on his long road to recovery.
