Friends, family and community,

I would like to provide you all with an update on how Brian is progressing and let you how much we appreciate the money that we have received during this very difficult time.

Brian has seen his orthopedic surgeon for two follow up visits. The first, was to have the 56 staples removed from the upper thigh area. The second visit was to get updated x-rays to ensure that the rods, pins and bones haven’t shifted. The surgeon said, he is progressing. In addition, he is attending physical therapy is twice a week. One session involves stretching and riding an exercise bike which to our amazement, he is able to bend his knee. The other session involves water therapy which is not weight bearing. He continues to utilize the walker when going to appointments and in our apartment.

We are still waiting for the insurance company to let us know if we will receive a payment for the car that was totaled.

Your continued support is appreciated in advance, as I continue to work as many shifts at possible however, my income alone isn’t going to sustain us financially.
