Brian, my brother-in-law, and my sister Debbie are facing one of the most difficult times of their lives. On Tuesday evening, Brian underwent an emergency life-saving surgery and is now in a critical care unit. The doctors expect him to remain in the hospital for up to two weeks, and his recovery could take anywhere from three to six months, depending on how he heals. Both Brian and Debbie have always worked hard as commercial cleaners for offices, churches, and other organizations. Unfortunately, they do not have insurance, and Brian’s illness and surgery mean he will not be able to continue working during his recovery. This sudden turn of events has left them facing not only the emotional and physical challenges of recovery but also the overwhelming burden of medical bills and daily living expenses.
With your donation, you can help ease some of this burden. The funds raised will go directly toward paying their medical bills, covering monthly expenses to keep their home running, providing groceries, and ensuring they have gas to get back and forth to the hospital. Your support will also help with any future medical treatments or therapy Brian may need as he works toward recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in their lives during this incredibly challenging time.
As most of us can understand, life throws unimaginable curveballs at us and nothing can prepare us. It is with great appreciation and love for them that I truly feel for them and what they are going through. I am so grateful for all of you! I so humbly and graciously accept any amount at all you can do to help. I do understand money is stretched thin right now. My hope is that, with your generosity, Brian and Debbie can focus on his healing and recovery, without the added stress of worrying about how to keep the bills paid, gas in the car, any future medical necessities, food on the table for their family and kitties.
