I'm Brian's wife, JoAnn. This wasn't how Saturday, August 16th was supposed to go. I was outside on the back porch and heard a loud crash so ran in and found the attic stairs had detached from the ceiling with my husband, Brian, still on them. A good 8-10 foot drop.

So far it's been 2 ambulance rides, 2 hospitals (tranferred due to amount of trauma), 5 CT scans and 2 MRIs. He has 3 types of spinal fractures. The worst is the C7, but the C6 and T2 were also involved. He has some fractures in the lumbar region too. He also broke both of his shoulder blades (scapulas).

All of this while unemployed and no insurance. We definitely feel like we're in a Job season.

We understand finances, but if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.
