Support Brian's Journey with Special Needs

My name is Brenda Marmolejos and I’m a single mother of 4 children ages 17,15,9 and 5.

My youngest son Brian, was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 years old and is nonverbal.

Brian continues to wear diapers and his diet is limited. We are working hard to encourage him to use the toilet on a regular basis, and to offer different foods.

Brian is such a happy little boy. He loves to play outside most of the time, specially in water.

Brian has received different type of services for his developmental delays in the past few years .

These include physical, occupational and speech therapy. Brian’s ABA classes and speech therapy are primarily covered by insurance.

However, monthly co pays are required.

My goal is to enroll Brian in swimming, sensory classes, sports, horse therapy and activities that teach life skills. I feel this will provide him the support he needs to improve his quality of life. As you can imagine, these come with a cost .

Having a special needs child is very expensive.
