Hey everyone! I’m creating a go fund me for Brian, our night shift ortho tech! Recently he had an Echo done and it wasn’t great news. Long story short he has to have a heart cath next Tuesday to see how extensive the damage is, then open heart surgery at U of M Ann Arbor on March 11th, or earlier if they can get him in. He is off work INDEFINITELY.

I don’t know if many of you know but Brian supports his wife and 3 grand children at home, he’s the main source of income.

Brian has always been super helpful whenever he’s on shift and always willing to go the extra mile. He’s always willing to educate, whenever he hears about an ortho case coming in he usually comes down to see the patient and their imaging so he can be ready, and if you need anything to help make the patient more comfortable, just ask Brian! I’ve seen him stocking the blanket warmers multiple times throughout the years. We are truly losing an irreplaceable team member.

Even up on the floors I know I’ve paged him for things and he has been more than willing to come up and bring them to me and help place them on the patient.

At this point Brian is not asking for much help as he is not sure what everything is going to cost when everything is said and done. But I think we can pull together for him as he has done so much for us over the years. Let’s show him some true Sparrow family love.
