As many of you know, our brother Brian was diagnosed with stage IV alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS) in December 2023. This rare and aggressive cancer has turned his life upside down, yet Brian has continually inspired us with his strength and positivity.
ASPS is a rare type of soft tissue sarcoma, affecting only about 1% of all sarcoma patients. It primarily occurs in younger adults and has a tendency to metastasize, or spread, to other parts of the body. Due to its rarity, ASPS is often diagnosed at an advanced stage, as was the case with Brian.
Research into ASPS is severely underfunded, resulting in limited treatment options. The need for more effective therapies is critical, yet funding for research is sparse compared to more common cancers. Despite these challenges, Brian has remained hopeful and determined to fight this disease.
With treatment comes significant expenses that go beyond medical bills. Brian, Delaney, and their young daughter Aya need our support. Your generous contributions will help alleviate the financial burden on Brian's family, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—spending quality time together and making lasting memories. Every dollar makes a difference.
We hope you'll join us in supporting Brian as he continues his courageous battle against ASPS. Your support will make a meaningful difference in their lives and help them continue to enjoy all that life has to offer.
