Brian Toole's Story...

Recently, he has been diagnosed with AML Cancer. He has now been admitted into Moffitt Cancer Center. This diagnosis is completely new. Brian has been through so many health issues. About three years ago, he had gastric surgery. It unfortunately came with many complications. He finally came through the multiple surgeries, living on a ventilator, the pain, the hardest fight he has had so far. He lost his job then, and his family still went on strong. As time went on, he was able to get back on his feet. He found a new job and was just getting back to 'normal'. Out of the blue, he had stomach issues again. A blotchy rash started, random bruising started to happen everywhere, stomach pains like crazy, and a small appetite. So, he went to the hospital. It took 4 days for them to finish the testing to come to the conclusion he has leukemia. It took another 3 days for him to get transferred to a Cancer Center. So here we are... Brian is now starting the testing again, so they can determine the chemotherapy/radiation treatment he receives. Brian and his family have had a rough few years. This specialized Cancer Center is going to cost more than an average hospital. His family went from having a mom and dad who both work to now only one parental income. She will also be taking time off work to support the family. She could really use some support to help with rent, utilities, and hospital bills.
