Support Brianne After Emmitt's Tragedy

My friend Brianne and her family had a very tragic day on May 26. Their beloved dog, Emmitt, was shot by Brentwood police while he was doing his job protecting his family. Emmitt was in protective mode as a uniformed stranger with sunglasses on approached the yard from an unusual entry point, ran toward the officer barking loudly, after a family disagreement. Unfortunately the officer immediately pulled his gun and fired, concerned with being bitten.

Now, Brianne is left with endless bills of significant amounts to come, all while being a single mom.

Emmitt is a sweet, loving boy. He loves everyone and has never hurt a soul. He barely ever barks other than when someone knocks on the door.

Emmitt is a known and loved dog by many along with his kitty sisters and chipoo cousin.
