My dear friend Brianna was recently in a tragic car accident, crashing into a tree and a telephone pole. Her injuries are severe, and she's been in a coma for over a week now. Her brain is swollen, and she faces a long recovery ahead once she wakes up. In a desperate attempt to improve her chances, doctors removed the right side of her skull. Heartbreakingly, she has also been diagnosed with pneumonia while in the coma.
