For the past four years, I have been battling severe pain due to Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW), with the symptoms worsening over the past two years. TSW refers to redness and skin irritation that can occur after prolonged use of topical corticosteroids for skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. Some of the symptoms I endure include severe itching (referred to as bone itch), insomnia, extreme skin shedding, swelling (swollen lymph nodes), months of skin oozing, burning, wrinkly skin ("elephant skin"), and depression. Throughout this journey, I have tried numerous methods and consulted different doctors. However, misdiagnoses and being ignored by some doctors led me to realize that traditional treatment options are not enough. Every day and night, I cope with pain, relying on God's grace and my unwavering dedication to pursuing my passions. Despite the difficulties, I find joy in being an artist and an active member of my community. Nevertheless, pursuing my passion has become increasingly challenging as my symptoms progress. To continue my healing journey and enhance my quality of life, I am seeking unconventional treatment, including attending a Lifestyle Retreat that will facilitate the natural healing process.
