My name is Brianna, and I’ve always been someone who works hard and helps others. Since I was 17, I’ve been a single mom, raising my children and doing my best to provide for them. I’m the only one working in our household.

Recently, I was diagnosed with cancer and need surgery. I’ve been putting off the procedure because I was worried about how we would manage our living expenses while I recover. But now, I have to choose my health and move forward with surgery and treatment, even though it means I’ll be out of work for at least 12 weeks.

The funds from this fundraiser will help cover our medical bills, car payments, food, diabetes medication, and medical equipment while I’m unable to work. I’ve reached out to local agencies like DSHS and the Opportunity Council, but I’ve found that I need to stop working completely to qualify for most assistance. This is very hard for me to ask, especially from people who may not know me well, but we truly need help right now.
