Support Briana's Journey: From Farm to Book

Donation protected
If you're finding yourself here, you have most likely read a story or two of mine. They are usually dark humor filled and sometimes a little raunchy, real life stories from my ridiculous day to day life on my farm, Madness and Mayhen. I have posted maybe 4 of my short stories and every single time I am told by friends, family, and complete strangers that I should write children's books. Even having two small children of my own, I'm not the best at relating to children and I have been skeptical so I just write my stories for fun on Facebook.
After some more provocation I reached out to a publishing company just for shits and giggles. They said I needed to send them a manuscript to review and go from there. It took me a long while but I finally altered one of my more "mild" stories and made it as kid friendly as I knew how.
Fast forward 4-5 days and I received the email that is pictured below telling me that the company accepted my manuscript and would like to proceed with the publication process. It was mentioned that only 15-20% of all manuscripts are accepted. I would say I was excited but the grueling thought of paying for that process stunted that feeling. I felt a little proud but that's about it. I have to pay for the service of it all. From editing, formatting, and illustrations to publicity, press release, advertising, etc. They help me though every step.
There is a starting fee then monthly payments for 10 months while my book is built brick by brick, from the ground up. This is where you come in! These monthly payments are close to a car payment and if we could swing that, I'd have a new car instead lol.
My name is Briana and I have always enjoyed writing. Writing has gotten me through a few very tough times in my life because when I write everything down it helps me sort out my feelings when I'm struggling to do so. It helps center me during life's most chaotic moments. Recently moving back out to the country my family and I have started a small farm that consists of a cow, 2 goats, lots of chickens, 4 geese, 4 dogs, and a cat. Anyone with pets knows that it can be as tough as it is entertaining. So as you can imagine with this many animals and their personalities, I have had some stories that sound like they are complete fiction. When it's actually my daily reality. Do I draw it out for story telling purposes,? Yes, but are all of the stories 100% the truth? Also yes.
I'm not sure where this journey will lead me, maybe to the moon and stars, or maybe nowhere. If I don't at least try though, I may never get this chance again so I'm trying to raise the money totalling in $4,085 so I can give it my best shot and have every chance of succeeding.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you're still with me. Any donation puts me that much closer to this dream becoming a reality. If you can't donate, maybe you know someone who can, if not, maybe you can just share this link. Any help at all is help and I appreciate any and all of it.
If you have not read any of my material, mosey over to Facebook and check out my farm page Madness and Mayhen. Not everything I write is fun to read though because farm life isn't always funny or happy but those are the parts I try my best to focus on.
With much appreciation,
Briana
