From the moment I held my daughter Briana Juliet in my arms, I was so grateful for this little bundle of joy - a miracle gifted from God. My promise has always been to give my 2 daughters a good, love-filled life with opportunities I did not have. Briana has been a studious - determined A+ student since she was a lil' cupcake. Today, she has surpassed her expectations and has achieved an upper honors 4.1+ GPA 4-yr average in HS. She has been accepted to her dream school - Monmouth University with an accelerated 5-year Master's Program at the Leon Hess Business School majoring in Finance.
She is stil beaming from the good news and elated to receive scholarships and grants from Monmouth University. However, due to the high tuition/ room and board expenses/fees, I am humbly asking for help to make this dream happen for her.
As a single mom, I carry the heavy load on my own and will do everything I can to fulfill the promise made to her years ago. She does her part at home and has been working part-time since August at a retail store and contributes to help pay a bill, groceries. She maintains such a positive attitude and deep appreciation even through adversity (divorce, hardship, pandemic...).
She has expressed deep interest and commitment to obtain a masters and by God's grace and blessing, she will be the first in our family. My joyful prayer is to witness her dream come true. May she be an inspiration to others and keep striving forward and be a light to those in need. I ask May God guide her and see her through this new milestone in her life.
All donations will go towards the tuition/board/books (tuition & board: $57K per year - deducting the award $25K per year, we are committed to pay $32K per year).
