Hi, I’m Morgan Wright. This week, my family received devastating news — my dad, Brian Wright, has been diagnosed with an aggressive, inoperable brain tumor.
Just months ago, my dad was living his normal, active life. At 64, he was the picture of health — playing pickup basketball, dominating on the pickleball court, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
In July, he was unexpectedly laid off from his job. Around that same time, the symptoms began to appear — struggles with memory, finding words, and even spelling simple things. After a trip to the ER and a series of tests, we learned he had a large mass on the left side of his brain. A brain biopsy was performed next, and while we are still waiting on the final results, the doctors have given Brian the shocking and unbelievable news that he has an inoperable cancerous brain tumor.
The doctors have recommended a combination of radiation and chemotherapy for treatment. We are still in the early stages of understanding what the road ahead will look like, but we know it will be long, emotional, and expensive.
Because of his recent job loss, my dad no longer has employer-provided health insurance, and the cost of ongoing treatments, prescriptions, and medical travel will quickly add up.
Your support — through donations, prayers, and sharing this page — means more than words can express.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this time.
