Our family is once again navigating the difficult terrain of pancreatic cancer. As most of you know, in December of 2024, Brian was diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. After months of treatments, including major surgery to remove part of his pancreas and spleen in August 2025, we believed we were moving into a period of recovery and healing. Unfortunately, recent scans in March 2026 revealed that the cancer has returned and spread within Brian’s abdomen. This has been a devastating development for our family, and we are cultivating our courage to proceed with the path ahead.
The coming months will require aggressive medical treatment, including chemotherapy, specialized supportive care, and travel to medical appointments. Alongside conventional treatment, we are also working to support his body’s strength and resilience through integrative therapies, nutrition, and supportive care that are not covered by insurance. These treatments are critical in helping maintain quality of life and giving us the best possible chance to support Brian through this disease.
The financial strain of this journey is significant. Between medical bills, treatment costs, travel, time away from work, and supportive therapies, the expenses add up quickly. We are asking for help so that our family can focus on healing and caregiving rather than the overwhelming financial burden. If you are able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to us. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this page with others is also deeply appreciated. Most of all, we ask for your prayers, positive thoughts, incantations, and your continued support as we move forward together. Cancer is a difficult road, but we believe in the strength of community, the power of hope, and the possibility of healing. From the middle of our hearts, thank you for being with us.
How Donations Will Help Brian Continue Fighting
Brian is pursuing both conventional and integrative cancer therapies in hopes of slowing the progression of pancreatic cancer and maintaining quality of life. While some care is covered by insurance, many critical supportive treatments are not.
Your support will help fund:
- High-Dose Vitamin C Infusions -- Approximately $200 per treatment, often weekly or more frequently to support immune function and reduce treatment side effects.
- Hyperthermia Cancer Therapy -- A specialized treatment available in Vancouver that heats tumor tissue to increase cancer cell vulnerability and improve treatment response. A typical treatment cycle can cost $10,000–$15,000.
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) -- Brian will undergo an intensive oxygen therapy protocol to support healing and immune response. The chamber rental alone is $3,200 for a month.
- Supplements & Integrative Therapies -- Targeted supplements, medicinal mushrooms, enzymes, and immune-supportive compounds recommended by his integrative oncology team.
- Therapeutic Nutrition -- Organic, nutrient-dense foods are a critical part of his metabolic cancer-support protocol.
- Travel for Specialized Care -- Trips to Seattle and Vancouver for oncology consultations and treatments.
Every donation helps Brian access therapies that aim to support his body, strengthen his immune system, and give him the best possible chance moving forward.
