On June 21st, everything changed for us. My little brother, Brian Sanchez Paz, was involved in a tragic car accident in Wichita, Texas. His vehicle flipped and rolled off the road, and to this day, we remain unaware of how long he was trapped there , terrified, and badly injured before someone discovered him. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Doctors informed us that he had multiple broken ribs, a fractured collarbone, and a shattered sternum. His lung was punctured, and he required emergency surgery to remove his spleen . He also endured
significant damage to his back and face, which were badly injured when he was thrown during the crash. The severity of his trauma necessitated plastic surgery. Now, he is completely bedbound. He cannot walk, talk, or eat on his own. Even the simple act of keeping his eyes open for more than a few minutes drains him completely. My brother, who once filled every room with laughter and joy, is now in a fight for consciousness, healing, and survival. No one is ever ready for something like this. As a family, we’re striving to remain strong for him, but the emotional and financial weight is daunting. We are humbly asking for any assistance you can offer. Your donations will directly support his ongoing medical care, including hospital bills, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and the mental health support he will need to navigate this traumatic journey. We understand that the path ahead will be both long and painful, but we have faith in him. We have faith in his resilience. And we have faith in the kindness of those willing to lend a hand when a family is at its lowest. Please keep my brother in your thoughts and prayers. If you’re able, consider donating or sharing; every dollar counts, and each act of kindness lifts us in ways we cannot fully express. We are truly grateful for your support as we navigate this challenging time together. Thank you for being there for us.
