I am Brian Ramirez-Aguilar and I'm a UCF Alumni looking to make his first post-graduate experimental short film shot on 16mm film stock, and I need your help to make it possible.

The film in question is St. Joan, a short film that will tell the story of Joan of Arc, and the divine interventions such as voices and visions that put her on the journey to become one of France's greatest and most legendary heroes, and feminist icons.

This film is an experimental project and will use hybrid formats, with 90% of the footage captured on film and some complicated shots captured on digital, to tell the best story possible with the strengths of both worlds.

Any and all donations will go towards paying for the filmmaking gear, food and drink for the hard-working cast and crew, and any necessary permits and hidden fees. Even if you cannot contribute, just by spreading the word you are doing your part to help.
