Hello, some of you in the small town of Ephrata may know Brian Preheim. He is a shining light in our community and is always sure to be full of humor and joy, which he always shares with everyone he comes into contact with.

Unfortunately, in August, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in his stomach and liver. Due to the complications of his cancer and the treatments, he has been unable to work more than a few hours a week, and the bills keep piling up. I am hoping through this fundraiser to get Brian the money he needs to keep paying his bills as well as take care of himself and his family during these hard times.

Update: Thank you all for your donations. We appreciate all of your thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement. Thankfully, the cancer on his liver has vanished and the cancer in his stomach has concentrated into one area which can be operated on and removed. Because of this, Brian will be going in for a life changing stomach surgery on June 25th and will be unable to work for at least 3 months due to the initial complications and recovery time. Because of this, we will be keeping donations open for the duration of his recovery time.
