Support Brian Petch's Healing Journey

Donation protected

On April 3rd, Brian Petch a long-time Consumers Energy lineman was critically injured during storm restoration efforts in Michigan following a fall. This tragic incident has deeply impacted not only Brian and his family but the entire line community.

We are eternally grateful to everyone who played a role in saving Brian’s life. His courageous co-workers on the scene, the first responders, the exceptional trauma team at Henry Ford in Jackson, the life flight crew who swiftly transported him, and the dedicated ICU and surgical teams at the University of Michigan. Every single person involved is the reason Brian is still with us today. Words will never fully express our gratitude.

Brian is a devoted husband to Jenny and a loving father to their three young children. Outside of work, the Petch family is actively involved in local 4-H community. They also run a working farm and breed Highland cattle. Just a few of the many responsibilities they manage together. In his rare free time, Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, and making his own maple syrup. He’s a man built for hard work, long hours, and unwavering dedication.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Brian faces a long and uncertain road to recovery. Out of respect for his privacy, we won’t be sharing details about his condition. What we can share is Brian is a miracle and has a lot of fight in him. While it won't be easy we have faith he can overcome the obstacles that lay ahead.

While Jenny and the kids focus entirely on Brian’s healing, we as his Line Family are coming together to support them long term. All donations will go directly toward helping cover household expenses, farm operations, and the countless unknowns that lie ahead. Our goal is to give Brian’s family the gift of time and peace of mind. So they can devote their full energy to his recovery over the coming year.

No donation is too small, and more than anything, we ask for your prayers. Your support, love, and positive thoughts mean the world to the Petch family as they navigate this new reality.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
