A bright smile, unwavering enthusiasm, or a witty (sometimes slightly inappropriate) joke are all ways that we have come to know and love Brian Kennedy. He is quite literally the man that will give you the shirt off his back, be there immediately in your time of need, and invite you into his home for a cold beer and some Pirate Football!!

As many of you may know, Brian has been recently diagnosed with cancer and has begun his journey of medical appointments, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy to battle this dreadful disease. Brian and his wife Jaime are grateful to have some of the best care providers in the country, led by Dr. Hanna Sanoff of UNC Lineberger Cancer Center.

Brian began his treatment protocol last Friday, and while the initial days have been challenging, the support from family, friends, and the community has provided significant comfort. Both Brian and Jaime deeply appreciate the many messages of encouragement, prayers, and continued check-ins during this difficult period.
