On July 9, our family’s lives changed unexpectedly. My brother, Brian, started experiencing a severe headache and vomiting. When they knew something was seriously wrong, an ambulance was called, and he was rushed to the hospital. Shortly after arriving, he was sedated, intubated, and diagnosed with bacterial meningitis.

Bacterial meningitis is a serious infection that causes inflammation around the brain and spinal cord. As of today, Brian remains sedated while his medical team continues treating the infection. He has a long road to recovery ahead.

I’m creating this fundraiser to help take some of the financial stress off his wife, Jessica, so she can focus on being by Brian’s side and caring for their two children, Magnolia and Henry.

Any donations will help with everyday expenses, gas, parking, meals while at the hospital, and other unexpected expenses as Brian recovers.
