(Update (1) below)
On Friday, December 12th at 10:15 pm, my father, Brian DeHaas, was crossing the street as he was hit on foot by a speeding car that fled the scene.
He has had a couple surgeries and is now intubated in the ICU with major injuries to his eye, head, and leg.
Brian is the sole parent and provider for his 6 year old daughter. He is an amazing father to her, his older daughter Mariah (22) and Myself, Sean (18)
he is not only a great father but a respected friend, a trusted employee, and someone who consistently shows up for everyone he loves.
He is a man who lives to serve and be there for those in need.
Funds will help towards medical bills, rehabilitation, living expenses while he is unable to work and care for his youngest daughter.
If you’re able to donate and share, it will be greatly appreciated. Any and all support will help Brian and our family get through the tough days ahead.
Thank you for your support.
-Sean DeHaas
A Special thanks to the Water Fixers Plumbing & Filtration family where Brian is employed and valued.
Update (1): He is still sedated with a breathing tube. Injuries are confirmed a fractured left eye socket and cheek bone, broken ribs, broken tibia and road rash down the left side of his body and back. He had a brain bleed that stopped a few days after the accident. He was getting fevers that they took a spinal tap for to check for infections. He is still having trouble being woken up without getting aggressive so hasn’t been up long enough to talk to or see him. Will update as soon as we get him awake and talking.
Thank you to everyone donating and sharing and supporting my dad and my family. Lots of love.
