On Saturday, September 6, 2025, Brian Clucas was in a terrible work accident that left him with extensive injuries. He had to be airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he has already undergone two major surgeries.
The first surgery fused his spine from T10 to L3. During the second, surgeons had to address even more trauma than expected. His muscles tore away from his bones, requiring a fusion from T10 to L1, and fragments from L4–L5 were removed to relieve pressure on his spinal cord. They were also able to control internal bleeding in the area.
Unfortunately, testing shows that Brian’s spine is still not as stable as it needs to be, and he will be returning to surgery again for further stabilization.
Through it all, Brian has stayed in good spirits and continues to keep the smart sense of humor we all know and love. But the reality is, this will be a long and difficult road ahead.
Brian is the main provider for his wife, Joplynn, and their daughters, Teighton and Emberly. Joplynn has not left his side since the accident, and the family is now facing not only medical uncertainty but also the financial strain that comes with it.
Your donations will help ease that burden — covering everyday bills to maintain the household, unexpected expenses and care for the girls until financial assistance can be arranged.
If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word. Any support, big or small, means the world to Brian and his family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for rallying around them during this incredibly hard time.
