Support Brian and Emily's Fight for Visitation Rights
Donation protected
This fundraiser is being organized for Brian and Emly Criddle who have recently lost guardianship of their boys, Mikki and RJ, whom they have lovingly raised full-time for the past ten years. Unexpectedly, the boys' biological mom requested they be returned to her care. The Criddles exhausted their resources in the initial legal fight to keep the boys, a battle they unfortunately lost. Since both boys and their biological mother are Native American, the Indian Child Welfare Act, which supersedes Washington State law, required the boys to be returned to their biological mother. This has caused significant trauma for the boys and Brian and Emily, who provided them with a stable and loving home.
Now, the Criddles urgently need to raise at least another $5,000 retainer fee to pursue legal action for visitation rights. The boys' biological mother has cut off all contact, leaving Brian and Emily with no choice but to navigate the legal system to remain a part of the boys' lives. Brian and Emily have been loving, dedicated parents to RJ and Mikki, who dearly miss their mom, dad, home, and friends in Orting. Thank you for your compassion and support to the Criddle family. Let's help them hold onto their love and connection!
