It's been two months since Brian Alwin was admitted to the hospital and just a few days before Christmas had undergone a Sextuple Coronary Bypass (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft). After spending nearly two weeks in the hospital, he was finally able to go home.

The past couple of months have given Brian several other health challenges in addition to the "normal" healing process and follow up visits.

While Brian does have medical insurance, it has a high deductible and out of pocket portion that he will need to cover.

We are hoping friends, family, fellow bikers, neighbors, business associates and even acquaintances can pull together and contribute funds to put his mind at ease and relieve some of the stress of paying the compounding medical expenses.

There will be a benefit that will have music, items you can win and more on May 18, 2024 at Schu's Pit Stop Sports Bar & Grill in Portage, Wisconsin. Of course in person donations are preferred when possible, but not everyone is in the immediate area or able to attend for various reasons. We are just trying to give people options so anyone can support Brian whether near or far.
