My son, Brian, proudly served our country for over 10 years in both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army, completing one tour in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He answered the call to serve without hesitation. Now, he needs our support. Brian was recently hospitalized with a dangerous 4 cm splenic aneurysm. Doctors first attempted a minimally invasive procedure through his groin to repair it, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. The very next day, he underwent major open surgery to repair the aneurysm. Thankfully, they were able to save his spleen — but there is still a possibility that it may need to be removed, which would require another surgery. He spent 8 days in the hospital. After finally returning home, he developed fluid on his lungs, creating yet another complication in his recovery. Because of the severity of the surgery and these setbacks, Brian is unable to return to work for at least six weeks. Brian is married, and his wife faces health challenges of her own. As the primary provider, this unexpected medical emergency has placed significant financial strain on their household. Brian is a hardworking, proud man who does not like asking for help — but sometimes even the strongest among us need a helping hand. Our greatest concern is that he takes the full time he needs to heal properly. Returning to work too soon could jeopardize his recovery and potentially lead to more serious complications. If Brian has ever served this country in spirit through his dedication and sacrifice, we hope you’ll consider supporting him now. Any contribution — no matter the size — will help ease the burden of medical bills and living expenses while he focuses on healing. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity. It truly means more than words can express.
