Support Bri Through Medical and Housing Crisis

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Bri, who is currently facing incredibly difficult circumstances. Since experiencing complications and medical neglect following a surgery in June of 2023, Bri has faced ongoing challenges with their health. Bri has consistently been there for me and many others, and right now, they need our support more than ever.

Recently, Bri has been experiencing serious medical complications, including blood clots in their lungs. These complications have placed their health at significant risk, and they are facing ongoing treatment, doctors' visits, and an uncertain road to recovery. To make matters worse, Bri is also struggling with homelessness, which has compounded the difficulty of accessing the care and stability they need. They were recently placed in low-income housing where there was drug cooking happening, which compromised their health, their cat's health, and contaminated all of their belongings. They are temporarily staying in a hotel, but without a stable living situation they will not be able to rest and recover. I'll be blunt: they are essentially dying right now because of our corrupt medical, housing, and financial systems.

We are raising funds to help cover their medical expenses, vet bills, care, and replacement belongings, as well as to ensure that they have a safe and stable place to stay while they recover.
