Hi, my name is Angie Baumgartner, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my nieces, Brianna and Mylie Getter. On July 26, 2025, their beloved father, Brian Getter, passed away unexpectedly. We are all still in shock and grieving this unimaginable loss.

Brian was more than a survivor — he was a fighter. Just five years ago, he overcame the odds after undergoing a liver and kidney transplant. Despite the long road to recovery, Brian not only survived — he returned to work and was rebuilding his life. He was incredibly proud to be helping Bri plan her wedding and cheering Mylie on as she prepares to begin her senior year of high school.

Brian was deeply rooted in his community in Pecatonica, Illinois, where he had lived since Mylie was a baby. He loved his town and its people, which is why it feels only right to honor his life there.

We’ve created this fund to help Bri and Mylie cover expenses related to their father’s Celebration of Life, as well as any unexpected financial needs that may arise in the coming weeks and months.
