Support Brgy. Talisay, Daanbantayan, Cebu After the 6.9 Earthquake

On September 30, 2025, my hometown of Brgy. Talisay, Daanbantayan, Cebu was struck by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake, triggered by a fault that had been dormant for over 400 years. The quake caused drastic damage to homes, including my mom’s, as well as to roads and community structures.

Thankfully, no casualties have been reported in our area, but many families are sleeping outside their homes in fear of ongoing aftershocks, which are expected to last for weeks. Water and electricity are scarce, and the community is in urgent need of food, clean water, basic supplies, and support for repairs.

I am reaching out to gather donations to send directly to my hometown. Any contribution—big or small—will go a long way in helping families recover and rebuild during this difficult time.
