I’ve known Shannon since 2004, and she has been one of my favorite humans ever since. I’ve watched her raise her kids with so much love, grit, and total dedication. She is the kind of mom who shows up for everything — no questions asked. Dallas and Brexton are her whole world.
On December 2, 2025, Brexton was diagnosed with leukemia. Just a month before that, he was out on the high school football field scoring 19 touchdowns between the freshman and sophomore teams. We all thought he had the flu because he just couldn’t seem to shake it. None of us were prepared for what the doctors would eventually say.
He’s now three months into what will be a two-year chemotherapy journey, including multiple inpatient stays. It’s been intense. Brexton is fighting so hard — truly giving it everything he’s got — but the reality is that cancer treatment doesn’t just take a physical toll. It hits every part of life.
The medical bills, time off work, meals on the go, travel back and forth, and all the unexpected expenses have started to pile up in a very real way. Shannon would never ask for help on her own, but right now her family could really use some support.
If you’re able to donate, even a little, it would mean more than you know. And if you can’t, sharing this would also help so much. Brexton’s fight is just beginning, and anything that lightens the load for this family is deeply appreciated.
Thank you ❤️
