11 members from the Brevard Police & Fire Pipes & Drums, along with 50 other pipers and drummers throughout Florida, have been selected to play at President Trump's inauguration in Washington, DC, as the Florida Firefighters Pipes & Drums mass band. The entire band is formed by current and retired police officers and firefighters. Each band/person is responsible for their own expenses for the inauguration trip to Washington, DC, including travel up and back, hotel stay, uniforms, and food. The expense will cost the BP&FP&D band members $7,200.

Due to the time constraint, as we were just selected to go recently, we do not have time to host any fundraisers. Our band is strictly nonprofit and no band member receives any pay to perform with the band. Our band was formed to honor fallen first responders and military members without any charge to the families. Any help, no matter how small, would be extremely appreciated.
