Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
I am reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit to ask for your support for my dear friend, Brett Chicko, who is courageously battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer: Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma with Richter's Transformation.
This devastating diagnosis has turned Brett’s life upside down. As many of you know, he is a loving husband, a devoted father, and the sole provider for his family. Despite the immense emotional and physical toll, he continues to fight every day with unbreakable strength and determination—for his health, for his family, and for the life he’s built with such care.
His treatment journey is intense and ongoing, including:
Radiation therapy to help shrink the aggressive tumors
CAR T-Cell Therapy, a cutting-edge and promising immunotherapy
Stem cell transplant, which offers a critical chance for long-term remission
These treatments, while offering hope, come with overwhelming medical costs, not to mention the financial hardship caused by his inability to work during this time. As he undergoes months of treatment and recovery, his family faces mounting expenses—medical bills, travel for hospital visits, daily living costs, and future care needs.
I am asking the community to rally around Brett and his family during this unimaginably difficult time. Every donation—no matter the size—will make a meaningful impact and help ease the burdens they face. Your support will go directly toward:
Covering medical treatment and hospital stays
Daily living expenses for the family
Transportation to and from treatment centers
Giving Brett the peace of mind to focus on healing
If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. Your prayers, encouragement, and compassion mean the world to Brett and his family.
Let’s come together to give Brett the strength and resources he needs to win this fight. Thank you for standing with them in this battle.
