Update (03/25/2025):
Hello again everyone. With great sadness for our family I have to relay this message but on Monday 03/24/25 Brent passed away. After a hard fight his body just couldn’t handle the pressure any longer. Thank you for your continued support through this very rough time for our family..

Hey everyone.
In October 2024, my family opened a small business called SkyHigh Gypsies, an antiques and interior store, fulfilling my mom’s lifelong dream of owning her own business and leaving the corporate world behind. However, shortly after the opening, our world was shaken by the discovery of a mass on my dad Brent’s kidney, which is likely renal cell carcinoma. Brent, a hardworking family man, was not only working his full-time job but also helping my mom establish the business.
After undergoing major surgery to remove the mass and his left kidney, Brent has been out of work for two weeks, and it’s unclear how long he will be out. As a family living paycheck to paycheck, especially with the startup of a new business, we’re facing difficult times. With our store not yet at full steam ahead and no disability or social security benefits at the moment, we are relying on this business to survive. Especially after the extensive care Brent has needed while in the hospital that came after complications of surgery.
We humbly ask for prayers, donations, or support by shopping in our store—anything that can help us through this challenging period.
