We never imagined our love story would end like this. In the early hours of Saturday, February 7th, 2026, Brentley Mueller was taken from us in a senseless and brutal act of violence. Brentley was a devoted husband, a cherished Papa Trey, a son, and a light to everyone who knew him. He had a nurturing heart, a vibrant spirit, and a way of making people feel safe, seen, and loved. He gave life lessons without judgment, helped without hesitation, and sang simply to make others smile. That was who he was, pure love. We were planning a beautiful future together. We were paying for and preparing a gorgeous wedding, dreaming about the life ahead of us, never once imagining that instead of celebrating our love, we would be planning a funeral. Nothing prepares you for losing your one and only, especially in such a violent and unexpected way. Now, in the midst of unimaginable grief, Brentley’s wife and parents are facing overwhelming financial strain. Instead of being able to focus solely on mourning and honoring his life, they are burdened with funeral and burial expenses they never expected to face. No family should have to worry about how they will afford to lay their loved one to rest, especially someone who deserved so much more time, so much more life.
