Brent Ivey, the world’s greatest tailgating captain, champion of all things Mill Valley High School Sports, and a friend to all, is currently at The University of Kansas Hospital facing ongoing neurological health concerns. On Thursday, February 12th, Brent went to the ER at KU Med in Olathe after experiencing troubling symptoms. After an overnight stay and a series of tests, he was transported to KU Med’s main campus, where CT and MRI scans revealed a golf ball sized mass in his brain.
Brent is now under the care of a dedicated team of neurosurgeons, oncologists, doctors, and nurses who are working together to determine the best plan for diagnosis and treatment. Throughout this difficult time, Brent has been surrounded by his loving family and friends, who have stepped in to meet immediate and practical needs.
There is a long road ahead for Brent and his family. The uncertainty of medical bills and unexpected expenses adds to the challenges they are facing. Brent is taking things one day at a time, living in the present moment, and trusting that he is in good hands.
We invite you to support Brent and his family by donating, sharing this fundraiser, and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of help makes a difference as they face the journey ahead. Your kindness and generosity will provide comfort and relief during this incredibly difficult time.
