Support Brent in his Battle with Cancer

This is Molly and I'm setting up this gofundme on behalf of our beloved benefactor, Brent.

As many of you know, Brent has been diagnosed with AML leukemia, and at a very late stage. He was taken by ambulance to Kentucky all the way from Tennessee because he needed an emergent oncology bed in the healthcare access desert and all beds were full. He is too sick to be home, and needs inpatient oncology treatment to save his life. All this will be very expensive for a retired man.

Brent has spent his life in service and devoted to the Nippur and kayaking communities. He is still on the board for American Whitewater, and he has inspired many through his love of kayaking. He has built a beautiful spiritual community in the smoky mountains where he has supported many people over the years and hosted wonderful festivals.

Not going to lie, Nippur has been giving a lot more than it has received in recent years, and Brent could really use some help to maintain the land while he is physically unable. He needs to cover a 5 hour ambulance ride, pay for chemotherapy, and make his home more accessible to him at this time.
